Tubes shall be supplied as welded with the external fin removed. In fin cut condition the maximum height of the fin shall not be more than 0.25 mm or otherwise as agreed to between the manufacturer and the purchaser. All tubes shall be of works man like finish free from injurious defects and shall be reasonably straight. The tubes may be supplied in heat treated condition provided that all the requirements of this standard are complied with IS- 3074, 3601, 9537-P-2-2004.
